Wausau West High School students earned medals in seven different events at the 2017 State Science Olympiad tournament at UW-Milwaukee. Twenty-nine students from Wausau West were able to participate in the State tournament this year.

1st place in Mystery Design: Hannah Senanayake and Annika Tordsen.
5th place in Remote Sensing: Jack Ford and Caleb Vandenberg.
3rd place in Game On: Bennett Baumann and Cooper Stamp.
